Adam's creative words at age 4

Adam has a great vocabulary, perhaps not surprising with the number of conversations he's surrounded with on a daily basis. "Literally" is his new favorite word. This morning he made up a few works that were worth recorded. He asked for pasta with wet butter. Then we practiced letters and I was naming the beginning of his name as being spelled with an uppercase A. He asked me to then write a downercase A. I love it!

Pie In the Sky

Last summer Christine and I sat down and talked about some big picture dreams.  One of the items we spoke about was to set a goal to travel and live abroad for longer times than just 1-2 week vacations. We wanted Sam, Andrew, Thomas, and Adam to really experience what it is like to live in other countries. Today, we are making this dream a reality, by driving from San Diego to Newfoundland and then staying for a month in Montreal.

This is our driving plan to get there.



It's going to be an exciting trip.  Camping and staying with family/friends along the way. I'll try to add an entry for each day in our trip!
