...I started rocking out to "American Pie" by Don McLean tonight while making dinner. Thomas (age 7) instantly perks up and says, "I know this song. But wait, what is he saying." Sam (age 11) comes up a little while later and says the same thing. And they thought there was only a song about a boy on Tatooine...now 2 minutes later and they're having their own music fest listening to Weird Al's song in the double-down...

Adam: What does plus mean?
Mommy: It means adding together
Adam: Oh, so 5 + 2 is 7
Mommy: Did you see it somewhere, why did you ask that?
Adam: I just wondered it up.
Daddy: I love you this much (hugging him) and this much (arms out)
Adam: (thinking and thinking): I love you... As big as space is... And that's a whole lot
