A Grand Adventure...

We have exciting news. Dave and I decided to live in Europe next school year. Dave will find new customers for his RFID business and I will homeschool our four boys, now ages 5 to 12 years old.

We will arrive in Paris on September 1st with the intention of returning to the US in May 2020. We plan to live in several countries while Dave meets with different customers. We are currently thinking of Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom with side trips to Denmark, Finland, Germany, Austria, France, Greece and Morocco.

Our vision is to stay one or two months in small towns with a few weeks of sightseeing in between. If you have ideas of beautiful cities, places to visit, houses to stay in, car buying advice or great activities, please let us know!

If you think our paths might be able to cross on the other side of the pond, please reach out! We'd love to see you.

We'll be updating this family blog if you want to follow our progress next school year. :)

Cheers,

Dave and Christine Carta
(and Samuel (12), Andrew (10), Thomas (7), Adam (5))

All big kids now...

Adam was playing in my room and rolled out the underbed storage while playing. He came trotting upstairs to me with the Ergo Baby Carrier in tow. He said, "Mommy, we can share this with someone else now; we don't need it any more." It's official, my baby's grown up! In full disclosure, we haven't used the carrier in a few years, so it's certainly time for it to move on, but shocking to hear Adam's self-analysis that he was done with it!
