Games that made the cut
As many of our close friends know, we love to play games and have an enormous bookshelf full of our 'favorite' games. People wondered how we were going to manage to be away from them for 9 months and if we brought some...which ones would make the cut?
Drumroll....here's the final ones we chose to bring:
Now of course, that pile is way too big for our luggage (though Sam and I both agreed we'd bring fewer clothes if necessary to fit them all in). So, we unpacked them into this slim, compact box that weighs a mere 8 pounds.

No Puerto Rico's or catan?
ReplyDeleteCatan was a close call... If we had the travel version, we may have brought it. Puerto Rico was just too many pieces, even if we were creative and used parts from other games. We have been contemplating what generic "piece" could be used a token/counter/money in as many games as possible...
